Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where innovation and teamwork are emphasized. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a supportive Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), contributing to a close-knit environment dedicated to professional growth and patient excellence. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' individual needs and goals to devise personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and functionality.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient expertise to care for 2-3 patients per hour, delivering tailored interventions that promote recovery and enhance physical capabilities.
• Implement evidence-based treatment methods while offering cost-effective solutions that minimize reliance on medications and surgeries.
• Design and conduct specialized fitness and wellness programs based on patient assessments, ensuring the approaches align with their specific health objectives.
• Engage in continuous patient motivation throughout therapy sessions to foster hope and drive towards optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and share insights for patient management.
• Document patient interventions and progress meticulously, ensuring adherence to compliance and quality standards.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed, with a focus on optimizing patient outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation from injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid Virginia Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions or issues.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to streamline patient care documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
