Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client needs, concerns, and goals, ensuring tailored treatment plans that reflect individual circumstances.

• Facilitate a variety of therapy sessions, including individual, couple, and family counseling, using evidence-based practices that align with each client’s unique therapeutic journey.

• Utilize effective communication and active listening techniques to foster trust and rapport, enabling clients to candidly share their experiences and challenges.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies when required, providing immediate support to clients in distress and ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Regularly participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on the latest research, therapeutic methods, and best practices in mental health counseling.

• Document all clinical interactions thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of counseling programs, offering insights and creative ideas for new initiatives and improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a myriad of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and existential crises. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and we value cultural competence and sensitivity in our therapeutic approach. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes and empower them to achieve lasting positive change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time role is competitive, ranging from USD 78,000 to USD 115,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our counselors receive a monthly healthcare stipend, free access to our counseling services for personal use, and the flexibility to create a schedule that accommodates both professional and personal commitments.
