Key Responsibilities\n \n * Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations through timely initial consultations and ongoing sessions. \n * Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, integrating evidence-based practices. \n * Facilitate engaging and productive individual therapy and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic approaches to promote healing and growth. \n * Monitor client progress meticulously throughout the treatment process, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. \n * Collaborate seamlessly with other mental health professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff to ensure a holistic approach to client care. \n * Engage in proactive communication with family members and significant others to support the client's recovery and to address their concerns. \n * Stay updated on the latest research and methodologies in psychotherapy to enhance your professional practice continuously. \n * Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational standards and best practices. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The clientele you will serve encompasses a wide range of individuals seeking assistance with mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n \n * A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n * Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey. \n * A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE). \n * Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience with AVATAR. \n * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills that cultivate trust and empathy with clients. \n * In-depth understanding of the intersection between mental health and physical health, including common co-occurring disorders. \n Preferred Experience\n \n * A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a licensed capacity with a focus on individual and group therapy. \n * Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines. \n * Experience working with clients facing addiction and other behavioral challenges. \n * Knowledge of medication management principles and the effects of prescribed drugs relevant to mental health treatment. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The New Pattern Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
