Work Environment

This role is onsite, situated within a school environment where you will engage closely with students, families, and educational staff. Your typical work hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility for occasional evening clinics extending until 8:00 p.m. You may also participate in community outreach events and health fairs on weekends, ensuring that the clinic’s influence extends beyond typical operational hours. An average workweek will total around 40 hours, allowing for meaningful interaction with the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings for students and their families to evaluate their overall health and identify any immediate issues.
• Utilize clinical skills to diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, providing preventive care and health promotion services tailored to the school environment.
• Collaborate with school staff and community organizations to develop and implement tailored health education programs aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle choices among students.
• Provide culturally sensitive care while advocating for patients' rights and needs to ensure they have access to the healthcare services they require.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on care plans to ensure continuity of care for students.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Engage in community outreach events, facilitating health screenings and raising awareness about important health issues within the student population and their families.
• Stay current with community health trends, emerging evidence-based practices, and relevant healthcare policies to inform your practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and possess an active state nursing license.

Compensation and Benefits

Graceful Care Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 180,000 to 200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
