Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups, including methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Document clinical interactions and treatment plans thoroughly, ensuring adherence to all legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participate actively in case discussions, team meetings, and peer consultation sessions to enhance collaborative care efforts.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals and families who often face significant obstacles in accessing mental health services, including low-income populations and those from underrepresented backgrounds. You will work with a diverse range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma and addiction, and will make a profound impact on the lives of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards as they pertain to mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and client caseload. We also offer:
