Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments during virtual sessions to gain deep insights into patients' unique experiences and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, tailored to the specific needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that aim to address a wide range of mental health concerns, facilitating emotional expression and promoting resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure consistent and comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating a calm and clear-headed approach to high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed choices.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with all ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will engage with a diverse client base that includes individuals from various ethnicities, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
