Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing established assessment tools and standardized diagnostic criteria.

• Collaborate with clients to create and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate holistic approaches, client preferences, and evidence-based practices.

• Utilize established therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective interventions tailored to the individual's needs.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and proactive self-management strategies to enhance their quality of life.

• Monitor client progress meticulously throughout the treatment process, making informed adjustments to the treatment plans based on evolving needs and outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care integration and holistic patient support.

• Stay informed on the latest research and therapeutic developments in mood disorder treatment to continually refine and inform your approach.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and progress reports in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in team-based consultations and training sessions, contributing insight to team discussions while also enhancing your own clinical skills.

• Act as a proactive advocate for clients, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders and actively promoting their mental health needs to the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our diverse clientele reflects various backgrounds and demographics, allowing you to develop a broad understanding of the various factors that impact mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong background in evidence-based treatment methodologies specific to mood disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
