Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the developmental needs of children.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring tailored interventions based on assessments.

• Monitor and evaluate progress for children enrolled in services, adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs.

• Provide direct support and resources to families to enhance their child’s developmental journey.
\n
• Utilize effective communication techniques to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.

• Apply evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment methodology in all interactions.

• Document all interactions and progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on young children aged newborn to three years who require early intervention services. Our LCSWs work with children experiencing a range of developmental delays or disabilities, and collaborate closely with families to ensure the application of strategies that support their child’s growth in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.
\n
• Minimum of one year of demonstrated experience working with children, particularly in early intervention settings.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a flexible caseload effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members.
\n
• Commitment to utilizing evidence-based practices and understanding the principles of Natural Learning Environment practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
