Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each patient, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, to deliver effective treatment to individuals and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues and fostering community engagement among patients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers, to guarantee a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and offer critical support in mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance your own and the team’s expertise in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents and adults grappling with various mental health conditions. The clinic emphasizes community mental health, thus our clients often come from varied socioeconomic backgrounds, each requiring distinct therapeutic approaches tailored to their individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and various evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven track record of conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy across a range of patient populations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in standard computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
