Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the therapeutic process from initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health, utilizing diagnostic tools and clinical judgment to inform treatment planning.

• Craft personalized intervention and recovery strategies for individuals, families, couples, and groups to facilitate effective therapy and promote resilience.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of clients.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to create cohesive treatment approaches.

• Communicate effectively with external healthcare providers to coordinate care for clients in need of additional medical support.
\n
• Identify factors that may hinder clients' recovery and work proactively to mitigate these challenges.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to assist with behavioral challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our clients come from a multitude of backgrounds and life circumstances, emphasizing the need for culturally competent and empathetic care. By offering telehealth services, we aim to reach individuals who may otherwise face barriers to receiving mental health support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• A minimum passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Previous experience in mental health counseling, showcasing a strong clinical background.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain client information efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience addressing complex cases involving underlying physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of medications prescribed by medical professionals and their effects on mental health.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to foster a therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, combined with a nurturing and sympathetic attitude towards client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
