Work Environment

This role will primarily operate in a remote outpatient office setting, allowing for flexibility and a focus on client-centered care. Our team utilizes modern technology platforms for patient management, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among clinicians, patients, and external service providers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients using appropriate diagnostic tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, to establish an individualized plan of care tailored to each patient’s cultural and personal needs.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans, providing necessary interventions and adjustments in strategy to support the patient's mental health status.
• Accurately maintain all patient treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies, utilizing advanced clinical management software.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans collaboratively with patients and their families, focusing on desired outcomes and strategies for symptom reduction.
• Coordinate referrals and other resources, acting as a bridge between patients and additional treatment providers to ensure holistic care.
• Deliver educational support and mentoring to students, interns, and volunteers, contributing to the growth of future mental health professionals.
• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaborations under the guidance of your clinical supervisor to foster team development and uphold treatment standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adolescents and young adults facing a diverse range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. This demographic often needs a compassionate approach that prioritizes understanding and empathy. By addressing cultural contexts and unique life experiences, you will play a critical role in their treatment and recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating strong academic preparation for clinical practice.
• A valid and current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Proven ability and skills to work effectively with diverse populations, considering various cultural influences in mental health care.

Preferred Experience

• A clinical experience of at least six months in a therapeutic setting is preferred, with familiarity in evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience with and understanding of the developmental stages of adolescence, and their implications for mental health.
