Work Environment\n

The work setting for this position will primarily be remote, facilitating a work-life balance conducive to both professional responsibilities and personal well-being. You will have the advantage of collaborating with our outpatient office team, which includes experienced child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. Your core hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, considering developmental stages and environmental factors.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient’s care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local resources, fostering an empowered outlook on care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation as per legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in regular team meetings and professional development sessions to continually enhance your skill set and knowledge.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to inform your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is centered on providing mental health services to children and adolescents ranging from ages 5 to 18. You will be instrumental in supporting young individuals facing various psychological challenges, empowering them and their families to navigate their mental health journeys. Your work will directly contribute to improving their emotional resilience and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering therapy to children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and child-centered therapeutic approach.

• Strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, specifically working with children and adolescents.

• Experience with family therapy techniques and crisis intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
