Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at optimizing recovery.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on appropriate exercise techniques, daily functional activities, injury prevention strategies, and self-care practices.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and any changes to patient conditions in compliance with state regulations while ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient treatment.
• Adhere to company policies and state regulations regarding safety, confidentiality, and infection control processes.
• Actively engage in professional development through training, workshops, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center caters to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. You will work with patients of all ages, providing personalized rehabilitation programs designed to restore function and improve quality of life. By establishing strong therapeutic relationships, you will help motivate patients on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current CPR certification to ensure urgent care capabilities for patients in clinical settings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, demonstrating a proven track record in patient care.
• Experience working with a broad range of conditions, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation and post-surgery recovery.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation tools and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and personal fitness assessments.

Compensation and Benefits
