Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Sondermind, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized therapy strategies based on a thorough examination of clients’ needs.

• Administering evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches.

• Engaging with clients through therapeutic sessions tailored to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on their unique challenges and goals.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly assessing client progress and adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Participating in consultations and peer review meetings to collaborate with fellow clinicians and enhance care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including adults and children, addressing a wide range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to complex family dynamics and trauma-related challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related area strongly preferred.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
\n
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with a wide range of clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, specialized experience in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma counseling, or substance abuse treatment will enhance your candidacy. Knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sondermind offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 77,000 to 100,000, plus performance bonuses and additional incentives.
