Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while still providing vital outpatient services. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, therapists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure that our students receive holistic care tailored to their unique needs. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with a wide range of special needs, identifying their strengths and areas for growth.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address mental health issues and emotional well-being, facilitating their successful integration into the school community.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for students diagnosed with ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and those who have experienced trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to promote personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping strategies.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Engage in collaborative efforts with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to create supportive educational experiences for all students.

• Educate students and their families about mental health, available resources, and strategies for resilience.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, actively participating in team meetings and case conferences to align with organizational goals.

You will be working primarily with students who have special educational needs, ranging from those with autism spectrum disorder and learning disabilities to emotional and behavioral challenges. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping these young individuals overcome barriers to their academic and personal success, ensuring they feel supported and understood in their educational journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care, mental health assessment, and diagnosis.

• Proficient in employing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques in both individual and group settings.
\n
• Strong analytical skills for developing treatment plans and making data-driven decisions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health environment, preferably within educational settings.

• Experience conducting therapy with children and adolescents diagnosed with various mental health concerns.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and administrative reporting.

• Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
