Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor within our adolescent and young adult outpatient treatment center, your role will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences, connect with peers, and foster a supportive community.

• Individual Therapy: Provide tailored one-on-one counseling, helping clients delve into their thoughts and emotions while developing strategies for coping and personal growth.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to construct individualized treatment plans, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals that reflect their aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and client feedback to monitor progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work synergistically with other mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide holistic care and coordinated treatment efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with youth and young adults facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Your work will focus on fostering resilience and facilitating recovery, empowering clients to navigate life's obstacles and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.

• At least one year of clinical experience providing counseling or therapeutic services.
