In this remote work setting, you will collaborate with a passionate team of mental health professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of our patients. You will conduct assessments and therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring that you can connect with clients in a comfortable and accessible manner. The schedule accommodates a standard workweek of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet patient needs outside of typical hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand patients' unique backgrounds and challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that reflect an individual’s cultural context.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic methodologies to support mental health recovery.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health crises, utilizing effective de-escalation techniques.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and useful community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, employing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous education to improve both personal and team performance.

• Stay updated on best practices in mental health therapy and cultural competence to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with a multicultural patient base that reflects a wide range of life experiences, including but not limited to individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ identities, and immigrant families. Your role will be to create an inclusive and supportive environment that respects and understands the challenges these populations may face, thereby ensuring effective outreach and treatment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and cultural competence in therapeutic environments.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using responsive and inclusive approaches tailored to diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations.
