Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are sensitive to the unique challenges of older adults, including cognitive and physical health considerations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be older adults facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to chronic anxiety, major depressive disorder, memory-related issues, and difficulties with life transitions. Understanding the complex interplay of mental, physical, and social factors in geriatric populations is crucial to your success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure in Oregon as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of geriatric mental health disorders, including evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience providing therapeutic interventions to elderly clients and their families.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and patience.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with older adults and their family systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
