Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their personal goals and needs.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Providing psychoeducation and support to clients and their families on the management of mood disorders, enabling them to understand treatment options and self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure a responsive and effective therapeutic process.

• Engaging in regular interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Keeping abreast of current research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Mantaining comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of data integrity.

• Participating in case consultations and professional training to foster clinical growth and maintain high professional standards.

• Advocating for clients within the community to help reduce stigmas associated with mental health and promote access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The client focus will primarily include individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse group of clients from various backgrounds and ages, providing tailored support that reflects their unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Strong background in mental health treatment, particularly regarding mood disorders.
\n
• Proficient skills in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, especially CBT and DBT.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, specifically focused on treating mood disorders.
