Work Environment

This position is designed for onsite home care, allowing you to engage directly with patients in their home environments. Home care settings provide a unique opportunity to assess and treat patients in the comfort of their own spaces, catering to their specific needs and capabilities. By working face-to-face with individuals in their homes, you will have a direct impact on their recovery process and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques—such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation—to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly document patient progress, response to treatment, and any modifications to the established treatment plans.
• Reassess patients at determined intervals to track improvement and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safe mobility techniques, and the use of assistive devices to enhance independence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practice standards by attending professional workshops and maintaining active involvement in professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic encompasses individuals across a wide range of ages and physical conditions. You will work with clients recovering from surgeries such as hip or knee replacements, managing chronic conditions like arthritis, and rehabilitating from sports injuries. The ability to connect with a diverse array of clients, including children and older adults, is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and instructions.
• Proficiency in computer skills including electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in diverse environments and with varied patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a direct patient care setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with home care or community-based therapy services.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
