Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of your clients.

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to inform therapeutic approaches.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in case discussions and strategy sessions.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training, and remaining informed about the latest mental health research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. You will be instrumental in facilitating therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience in your clients.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
