Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at The Luke Mental Health Clinic, you will:

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand each client's unique mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques for individuals, couples, and groups.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to align efforts and ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and secure client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while tracking progress towards treatment goals.

• Engage in regular case consultations and supervisions to foster a learning environment and encourage ethical practices.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience in a mental health setting.
