In this full-time role, you will provide specialized mental health care tailored to individuals affected by trauma, including complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Work Environment\n

This position allows for full-time remote work, creating flexibility in your schedule while ensuring you contribute effectively to patient care. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain a deep understanding of each patient's trauma history and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and improving overall mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning by working closely with psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care for our patients.

• Deliver immediate support during crises and trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and sensitive care.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, fostering understanding and resilience.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards while ensuring effective communication within the treatment team.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed practices and the latest treatment methodologies.

You will primarily work with individuals grappling with the consequences of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience delivering mental health services, preferably in trauma-informed care settings.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, ensuring the provision of effective interventions.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and a solid understanding of resilience-building techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
