Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on clients, particularly women and teens, who have experienced or are currently living in environments marked by domestic violence. You will employ Play Therapy for children, engaging them in creative expression to facilitate communication and healing. This specialized approach will enhance your ability to connect with younger clients, providing them with a safe space to express their emotions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

• Candidates must be able to work evening hours (3-8 PM) at least two days a week to accommodate client availability.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include access to health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as coverage for malpractice insurance. Counselors are also eligible for bonuses based on performance throughout the year.
