Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and other tools to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, continually assessing progress and modifying treatment strategies as necessary.

• Prepare and maintain accurate treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

• Coordinate care by establishing strong relationships with patients and their families, healthcare providers, and external referral agencies to ensure comprehensive and continuous support for all involved.

• Provide mentorship and education to interns, volunteers, and less experienced peers, fostering a collaborative learning environment and promoting best practices within the team.

• Participate in clinical supervision and contribute to peer reviews and case discussions with the guidance of a clinical supervisor.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals and families coping with cancer diagnoses, addressing the mental health challenges associated with such life-altering news. Your role will focus on providing empathetic support and effective therapeutic interventions to help patients navigate their emotional journeys, manage anxiety, and cope with grief and loss. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience in a clinical setting, especially providing mental health support to cancer patients and their families, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience.
