Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your daily activities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand client histories, mental health statuses, and treatment needs.

• Developing personalized therapy plans that address individual client goals, employing various therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies.

• Holding regular follow-up sessions to track progress, adjust therapeutic approaches, and provide on-going support.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that promote healthy coping mechanisms and interpersonal skills.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and referring clients to other healthcare providers when necessary, such as psychiatrists or nutritionists for comprehensive care.

• Documenting patient interactions and treatment outcomes efficiently in EHR systems to ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. By employing culturally responsive strategies, you will effectively engage with clients from different backgrounds, ensuring that their unique perspectives contribute to their treatment. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience within a mental health setting.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Ability to deliver culturally competent care and adapt therapies to fit the diverse needs of clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
