Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be pivotal in assessing and diagnosing clients' mental health conditions. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health status through comprehensive interviews and questionnaires.

• Developing tailored treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs and circumstances, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
