Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations for clients via telehealth platforms, employing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational protocols to ensure both compliance and client trust.
• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, engaging in regular case consultations to share insights and enhance care quality.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with the knowledge to manage their mental health effectively.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment, integrating new insights into practice to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Midmind, you will serve a diverse clientele, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues. Our clients may experience various challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety disorders, major depressive episodes, and adjustment difficulties. You will play a vital role in fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness among individuals from different backgrounds, thereby contributing significantly to their journeys toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in New York State.
• Proven expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, with the ability to develop personalized treatment strategies to address unique client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating strong therapeutic relationships with clients to promote engagement in the treatment process.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, adept at navigating complex client situations to achieve positive outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with digital health tools is highly desirable.
• Previous work with diverse populations, particularly in multicultural or community settings, is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
