Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students through in-depth interviews, observations, and the comprehensive review of medical and school records, to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting their recovery and adaptation.

• Deliver evidence-based counseling and support services to students and their families, specifically addressing issues related to adjustment, emotional well-being, and coping strategies throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Collaborate with a dynamic team of rehabilitation professionals, such as physical therapists and occupational therapists, to co-create individualized treatment plans that prioritize students' psychosocial needs and align with their rehabilitation goals.

• Facilitate student access to community resources, including support groups, vocational rehabilitation services, and housing assistance, enhancing their social support networks and overall recovery.

• Keep detailed, accurate documentation of student progress and engagement, updating treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their psychosocial needs.

This role primarily serves a diverse student population in a school setting, including children and adolescents facing various challenges such as temporary or permanent disabilities, emotional disturbances, and situational crises. Understanding the unique needs and experiences of youth is critical for fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current, active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• Deep knowledge of adjustment issues, grief processes, and effective coping mechanisms, particularly in a rehabilitation context.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to connect empathetically with students and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
