Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments via virtual interviews, observations, and medical record reviews to evaluate the emotional, social, and environmental factors that affect students' well-being.

• Provide individual and family counseling sessions to help students and their families navigate adjustment issues and improve emotional resilience.

• Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals to formulate detailed, individualized treatment plans that take into account each student's unique psychosocial needs.

• Assist students and their families in connecting with essential community resources, such as support groups, vocational training, and housing assistance, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.

• Educate patients and families about available resources and post-rehabilitation services to facilitate smooth transitions and ongoing support.

• Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure that students move from rehabilitation back to their home or school environments with appropriate supports.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with students experiencing various emotional and social challenges, ranging from adjustment disorders to the emotional aftermath of physical injuries or disabilities. Our diverse patient population includes children and adolescents who require tailored interventions to thrive in their educational settings and navigate personal challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong understanding of psychosocial factors impacting students, including adjustment issues, grief, and coping mechanisms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
