Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including the review of medical history and performance of specific assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, actively engaging them in the goal-setting process to ensure alignment on rehabilitation objectives.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols that adapt to individual patient presentations and changes in their health status, consistently updating care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require alterations to the established plan of care.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring patients receive appropriate follow-up care, while meticulously documenting all aspects of patient care in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate time management skills by maintaining an accurate schedule, meeting productivity expectations, and actively participating in marketing initiatives within the hospital and community.
• Contribute to departmental goals and objectives, adhering to all governmental and accreditation regulations that govern physical therapy practices.
• Pursue continuing education and assist in clinical instruction for students, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

• Commitment to excellence in service delivery and a passion for patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
