Work Environment

This position is onsite, as part of a Concierge Medicine/House Calls model, which means the Nurse Practitioner will provide services directly in patients' homes or designated community locations. This innovative approach allows for personalized care in a comfortable setting, encouraging ongoing communication and relationship building with patients. The typical schedule encompasses regular business hours from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance, with additional opportunities for community outreach and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose various mental health conditions, using established clinical guidelines and techniques.
• Manage medication regimens, continuously monitoring patient responses to treatments, adjusting prescriptions as necessary based on clinical evidence and patient feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with primary care providers and interdisciplinary team members to offer coordinated and integrated mental and physical health services.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress or psychiatric emergencies, ensuring immediate care and follow-up.
• Engage in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to raise awareness about mental health issues and available services, thereby decreasing stigma and promoting overall mental wellness.
• Deliver therapeutic support through various counseling methods and psychoeducational strategies, tailoring approaches to meet the needs of clients.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Nursing is required.
• Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a psychiatric concentration.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, fostering teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a community health center or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and techniques.
• Proficient in medication management and acute psychiatric care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package ranges from USD 200,000 to 250,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
