Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by performing initial examinations, including thorough physical exams and detailed patient observations.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and the latest cardiology guidelines.
• Operate, maintain, and monitor diverse medical equipment critical for patient diagnostics and care.
• Order, interpret, and communicate the results of diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and stress tests to patients, providing clear explanations and laying out the next steps in their care.
• Document detailed medical histories and clinical findings within our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care.
• Make appropriate referrals to specialists as needed, ensuring patients receive well-rounded care across the healthcare spectrum.
• Engage in patient and family education focused on cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and ongoing management of chronic conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves patients with various cardiology-related conditions, ranging from high blood pressure and cholesterol issues to more complex cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with adults of all ages, many of whom may be managing multiple health conditions and require a compassionate approach to their care. Additionally, our clinic strives to reach out to a wide demographic, including those within underserved communities, ensuring equitable healthcare access for all.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and an active nursing license in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a Master’s degree preferred, from an accredited nursing program.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a strong preference for experience in cardiology or related fields.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 150,000 to 160,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
