Work Environment

This position is based in North Fort Myers, Florida, mainly working onsite in patients' homes, which provides a unique atmosphere to offer individualized care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to devise effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement a range of therapeutic techniques, including customized exercise programs, manual therapy, and the use of therapeutic equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, documenting treatment responses and adjusting care strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers on the appropriate use of assistive devices and self-care techniques that encourage independence.
• Maintain a commitment to professional growth by participating in workshops, networking events, and professional organizations relevant to physical therapy.
• Regularly reassess treatment goals and modify plans to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population includes children and adults dealing with orthopedic issues, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using word processing and related software for documentation and communication.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of patients in a home care environment.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience is not required, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desired.
• Experience working in home care or rehabilitation settings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with patient assessment tools and treatment modalities specific to orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
