Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, carefully assessing each patient's unique circumstances and conditions. Develop patient-specific treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals and adjust them based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback. Conduct regular therapy sessions with both individuals and families, employing various modalities and techniques tailored to the client’s needs. Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and collective healing among participants, fostering a sense of community. Continuously evaluate patient progress, recognizing improvements and identifying any need for shifts in treatment strategies or referrals to specialists. Stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices in therapy and incorporate them into patient care while also sharing knowledge with colleagues. Patient Population / Client Focus We work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse, and trauma. You will create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions, addressing their mental health in a holistic manner. Our approach prioritizes understanding the unique dynamics within each family and how these can impact individual well-being. Qualifications A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington. A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Demonstrated expertise or specialized training in addiction counseling and evidence-based practices for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Strong counseling skills, with an emphasis on building trust and motivating clients toward positive change. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, to ensure clarity in imparting therapeutic insights and advice. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient therapy settings, with a focus on family dynamics and relationship counseling. Background in collaborative care approaches, emphasizing the integration of mental health services within community and healthcare frameworks. Proven track record of successfully improving client outcomes through tailored treatment plans.
