Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing actionable and tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities at patients' homes to improve mobility and restore function.
• Maintain documentation and track progress against treatment goals, ensuring compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
• Engage with patients and their caregivers through education and training, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports-related issues. Each patient's rehabilitation process will call for a customized approach, allowing you to apply various modalities and gain insight into multiple practice areas. Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE or APTA-approved program.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with New Jersey state requirements.
• A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, along with licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a clinical or home care setting, exhibiting a record of successful patient outcomes.
• Certification in CPR.
• Experience in multidisciplinary team settings, showcasing the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
