Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for various essential tasks that directly impact patient recovery and well-being. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and gather detailed medical histories.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and designing personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's specific needs.
• Instructing patients in the correct use of therapeutic exercises to enhance their physical capabilities.
• Administering physical stimulation, therapeutic massage, and other modalities to promote healing and recovery.
• Guiding patients in the proper usage of supportive equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers, to facilitate their mobility.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation of treatment goals and progress, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Educating patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises that encourage ongoing recovery outside the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with children and adults from various backgrounds and with diverse physical challenges, including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological impairments, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help empower patients to regain their independence and improve their functionality, paving the way for a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective patient interaction and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in computer applications and word processing.
• A flexible and agile approach to meeting the diverse needs of our patient population.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from recent graduates, candidates with at least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting will be given preference. Experience with outpatient care settings and familiarity with advanced physical therapy modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes:
