Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client’s needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

• Group, family, couples, and individual counseling sessions to address a wide range of mental health issues, ensuring clients feel supported and understood.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to create holistic treatment plans for clients.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and workshops to stay current with best practices in mental health and counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adolescents and their families, addressing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family-related issues. Your role will be crucial in providing accessible care to those who may not have had the opportunity to work with mental health professionals previously.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia.

• Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.

• Proficient in implementing various therapeutic techniques and methodologies relevant to the client population.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
