Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will entail:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges and emotional needs that affect their well-being in academic settings.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Providing individual and group psychotherapy sessions to support students in managing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other mental health concerns.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA standards, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other health professionals to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach to address the needs of the student.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to share insights and improve treatment strategies.
• Offering education and guidance to students and their families regarding mental health resources, coping techniques, and community support systems.
• Engaging in professional development opportunities to remain current with the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus will primarily be on students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing challenges such as academic stress, trauma, family dynamics, and socioeconomic obstacles. By fostering relationships based on trust and empathy, you will play a vital role in helping young individuals navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• Proven clinical experience, with a minimum of 2 years in providing psychotherapy services, preferably in educational settings.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a commitment to professional integrity.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills that foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based context.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our organization provides:
