Mind Cache Clinic is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional telehealth services. As a full-time clinician, you will work remotely from Yonkers, New York, delivering critical mental health counseling to a diverse client base that includes adults, children, and families. Work Environment

Our remote work setting allows for flexibility while prioritizing the well-being of our team and clients. Clinicians will work primarily from home, with responsibilities managed through virtual platforms. While regular hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, you may occasionally need to accommodate client needs during evenings or weekends. This structure enables a healthy work-life balance, a core principle of our organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing trust and maintaining professional boundaries while providing empathetic support.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to monitor progress, address challenges, and plan for discharge when appropriate.
• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring discretion and ethical care.
• Document client interactions and progress meticulously, employing electronic health record systems for keeping comprehensive notes.
• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate client needs and facilitate initial treatment direction.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, employing evidence-based practices to achieve the best outcomes.
• Engage in professional supervision sessions to reflect on practices and improve clinical skills.
• Collaborate proactively with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population spans from young children to adults, many of whom face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience

• Proven competency in engaging directly with clients and facilitating psychotherapy.
• Experience using technology, including electronic health record systems (RMS), Microsoft Excel, and communication platforms like Outlook and Pimsy.
• Comfort with conducting thorough intake assessments to inform treatment planning.
