Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of client mental health concerns, utilizing tools and methodologies that inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions through proven therapeutic modalities tailored to the specific needs of each client, thereby promoting their personal growth and emotional resilience.
• Set and monitor therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, ensuring that progress is tracked and adjustments to treatment are made as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy services, ensuring client accessibility and adherence to the highest standards of care, particularly for those facing geographical or mobility challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that aligns with ethical and regulatory standards, thus reflecting our commitment to professionalism and accountability.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including training opportunities and peer consultations, to continually refine your clinical expertise and stay current with emerging practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base consists of individuals across all age groups facing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will play a vital role in building trusting therapeutic relationships and applying your expertise to assist clients in navigating their mental health journeys. The diversity of our clients allows you to leverage your skills in a rich and fulfilling practice.

Qualifications

• A current, valid license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and journeys.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in a private practice or similar setting, particularly with trauma-informed care approaches.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling best practices.
• Experience in providing supervision or mentorship to interns or less experienced therapists is a plus.
