Work Environment

As a remote-based mental health counselor, you will work in an outpatient office setting with a focus on virtual care. Utilizing secure technology platforms, you will conduct therapy sessions via video and phone, ensuring that clients can access care from the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health complexities and formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs of both adults and adolescents.
• Facilitate telehealth therapy sessions, utilizing secure platforms to provide effective mental health support.
• Engage in collaborative case consultations with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and healthcare practitioners, to optimize treatment protocols.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and session summaries, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will empower clients to navigate their journeys toward improved mental well-being through evidence-based practices tailored to their individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• A valid LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD license issued by the state of California.
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or a Doctoral degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with clients, creating a safe space for healing.
• A detail-oriented approach to session management and an understanding of therapeutic best practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a clinical mental health setting.
• Experience with telehealth service delivery and familiarity with virtual care technologies.
• Background in working with diverse populations, particularly adolescents and families facing complex challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, and vision coverage.
