Vitality Empower Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be a key player in guiding patients along their rehabilitation journey, helping them restore mobility and enhance their functional capabilities. You will work directly with patients to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving the highest quality of life.

Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology. We predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance and are committed to promoting optimal health and wellness in our community.

Work Environment

The work environment at our rehabilitation facility is dynamic and supportive, featuring a collaborative team of two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). You will work onsite during standard hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to provide continuous care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to identify their individual goals and needs, ensuring customized treatment plans that reflect their unique rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, enabling thorough assessments and personalized attention.
• Utilize your clinical expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to facilitate patient recovery and improve mobility.
• Offer cost-effective treatment options that aim to enhance patients' range of motion and overall well-being.
• Empower patients by minimizing dependence on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives whenever feasible.
• Design comprehensive care plans that leverage a variety of treatment techniques tailored to each individual's specific circumstances.
• Create individualized fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, ensuring high standards of personalized patient care.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment process, encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care that addresses all facets of wellness.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, track progress, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient services to ensure compliance and enhance care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals dealing with orthopedic issues who are seeking to regain mobility and reduce pain. Your work will be instrumental in not only improving their physical capabilities but also enhancing their overall quality of life. You will encounter a diverse array of cases, each requiring a unique approach to treatment.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record, free from board or disciplinary actions related to licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
• Strong ability to develop, implement, and adjust exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable. Candidates with advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities or certifications in specialized treatment areas will stand out.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualification.
