Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide short-term psychotherapy tailored to the individual needs of clients, employing various modalities including individual, couple, family, and group therapy.

• Utilize your clinical expertise to assess treatment and facilitate interventions such as crisis intervention, skills training, and family therapy.

• Engage in case management by coordinating care for clients with dual disorders, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.

• Demonstrate mastery in evidence-based treatment strategies and maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and other client interactions.

• Participate in regular clinical consultations with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to collective treatment planning and quality assurance efforts.

• Advocate for clients by providing relevant resources and information, thereby promoting effective recovery and well-being.

• Stay current with developments in mental health practice through ongoing education and professional training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and dual diagnoses. Our client demographic ranges from children to adults and families. You will employ a culturally sensitive approach that respects the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients while tailoring therapies to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A current license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Psy.D in the state of New York.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.

• Proven proficiency using telehealth platforms and handling electronic health records as part of clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive and ranges from USD 75,000 to $125,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a sign-on bonus to newly hired licensed clinicians.
