Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather vital information about clients' trauma histories, aiding in the identification of effective treatment modalities.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to empower clients in processing trauma, cultivating coping strategies, and enhancing overall well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated and cohesive care, ensuring all client needs are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Kansas.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, ensuring client needs are prioritized.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working directly with trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
