Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history, social context, and treatment needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, integrating various modalities as appropriate.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma experiences and adopt effective coping strategies.

• Maintain active collaboration with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, responding effectively to trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping methods, and available community resources, fostering an informed support network.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population served by our therapy team includes individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, particularly those with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health challenges. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, each at different stages in their healing process, requiring a tailored approach to treatment to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed methodologies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a non-judgmental approach, equipped to build trust and rapport with clients.

• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations.

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and related technological tools.

• Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
