Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and establish individualized treatment plans to address specific needs, focusing on abilities and limitations.
• Utilize diagnostic tests, functional assessments, and patient histories to assess conditions and tailor therapy techniques effectively.
• Administer hands-on therapies, including manual exercises, modalities such as traction and massage, and therapeutic exercise programs designed to restore function and achieve treatment goals.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in executing care plans and ensure compliance with established protocols.
• Monitor patients' progress throughout their treatment duration, making necessary adjustments to help optimize outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss advanced care strategies and share insights with other healthcare providers.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, therapeutic devices, and overall physical therapy strategies to foster engagement.
• Conduct home assessments to recommend modifications that enhance patients' functional capabilities and independence.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with advancements in physical therapy research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with vary widely in age and mobility levels, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to those recovering from neurological incidents such as strokes. Our focus is on both rehabilitation and restoration of function, ensuring that each treatment plan considers the specific goals of the patient, whether that involves improving mobility, promoting independence, or alleviating pain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher, such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
