This remote position allows for a balanced work-life integration while being a part of a dynamic and supportive team environment. Working Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, you will have the occasional opportunity to contribute during evenings and weekends on a rotating basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms among clients, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and interviews.

• Collaborate with clients in the formulation of personalized treatment plans that are closely aligned with their unique needs and therapeutic goals, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and manage mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their therapeutic journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress, documenting changes and adapting treatment plans as needed to enhance outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with diverse individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our client base reflects the rich demographic fabric of Albany, with clients from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker with R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or licensed Psychologist in the state of New York is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders, demonstrating effective client outcomes.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly in CBT and DBT, with a solid grasp of psychopharmacology to facilitate coordinated care.
