Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, aiming to create a deep understanding of their individual circumstances.

• Collaborate closely with clients to design personalized treatment plans that incorporate their unique goals, preferences, and needs, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and treat mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment strategies, empowering them with the knowledge to manage their conditions proactively.

• Monitor client progress diligently and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate holistic and integrated care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their mental and emotional health are addressed.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments related to mood disorders, continually enhancing your practice with new knowledge and techniques.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards to uphold the integrity of patient care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that hone your skills, facilitate best practice sharing, and promote continuous learning within the field.

• Advocate for clients by promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and working toward enhancing their mental health and emotional support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily provide care for individuals battling mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your comprehensive understanding of these conditions will enable you to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with varying experiences and treatment needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential for this role.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specifically in the treatment of mood disorders is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based treatment approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.

• A demonstrated history of achieving favorable outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients across various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with additional bonuses, including a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.
