Work Environment\n

As part of our team, you will interact daily with colleagues and clients using telehealth tools to facilitate therapy sessions and maintain the continuity of care. Our schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some opportunity for flexibility based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and identify patients' individual needs, creating tailored treatment plans that incorporate their personal goals.

• Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families using established methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups to enhance community support and awareness surrounding mental health issues, providing participants with valuable coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health care professionals to ensure a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when needed and offer immediate support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies.
\n
• Utilize electronic health record systems to maintain accurate, confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to promote ongoing learning and improvement.

• Engage in continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices and innovations in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients struggling with an array of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals navigate their challenges, gain insight into their conditions, and develop effective coping strategies that promote mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required; advanced degrees in related disciplines preferred.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches, particularly those that are evidence-based.

• Proven skills in conducting mental health assessments and devising comprehensive, effective treatment plans.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling you to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, especially in providing care via telehealth platforms.

• Familiarity with community resources and supports available for clients in Simi Valley and surrounding areas.
